Chocolate caramels, with Santa Barbara Hives honey, by renowned French chocolatier Jean Michel Carré of Chocolats du Calibressan made in the tiny town of Carpinteria, CA-home to our first bee shop.
Beekeeper Barnaby grew up in Paris above LeNotre--one of the most famous chocolatiers in the world and photographs top chefs globally as a professional photographer. Jean Michel stopped in to our new bee store and we quickly realized that neither of us had ever had a honey chocolate or a chocolate honey. Ever.
Et voila! A customer came into our new State St. store before Xmas perplexed that we were out of chocolate caramels. "It's one of the best things I have ever put in my mouth" she said.
We will do our best not to run out! They are truly world class.
